SALI resin grinding wheel product knowledge introduction

The so-called resin grinding wheel is a large branch of the consolidated abrasives. As its name is generally used as a binder to bond the abrasive to form a rigid grinding wheel, our company initially chose to produce resin grinding wheels The main reason is to fancy its characteristics (more advantages, fewer disadvantages). Such as:

The main advantages are:

1. High bonding strength (normal working speed can reach 70-100m/s).

2. It has a certain degree of flexibility, good self-sharpening, and good surface finish of the processed workpiece.

3. Abrasive tools with various complex shapes and special requirements can be made.

4. Wide application range, widely used in rough grinding, barren grinding, cutting and free grinding, such as grinding steel ingots, burring castings, etc.

5. It is beneficial to prevent burns of the workpiece being ground.

6. The production is simple, the hardening temperature is low, and the production cycle is short, which is conducive to specialized production.

Disadvantages:

1. Alkali resistance, water resistance is poor, and it is easy to age (decay).

2. Relatively low heat resistance, large loss during grinding process (phenolic resin begins to thermally decompose at 280 degrees, and is completely carbonized at 500 degrees).

3. There is a certain harmless irritating smell during the production process: ammonia gas NH3.

After weighing the pros and cons, it was found that the advantages of the resin grinding wheel outweigh the disadvantages, so I decided to use it as the company's main product. The long-term practice test in the market also verified the correctness of the original decision.

In the process of using resin grinding wheel to cut the disc, the following points will affect its durability and sharpness:

1. The cross-sectional area of the workpiece to be cut is too large (the contact surface of the grinding wheel and the workpiece is too large to produce more high temperature and resistance, resulting in resin carbonization, resulting in a decrease in adhesion, and expansion of the workpiece, resulting in an increase in the resistance of the grinding wheel and a slowdown in speed, resulting in insufficient impact)

2. The material of the workpiece to be cut is hard (more friction with the workpiece leads to high temperature carbonized resin)

3. The hardness of the grinding wheel is hard or soft (the hardness of the grinding wheel is relatively hard, the self-sharpening of the grinding wheel is poor, or the grinding wheel itself cannot have a good metabolism, and the holding force of the soft grinding wheel is not enough, which causes the grinding wheel to contact the workpiece under high-speed rotation. Later, the abrasive was impacted by the workpiece)

4. The binding dose of the grinding wheel is too large or too small (too much combined dose will cause the wheel to be harder, and too little binding dose will cause the wheel to be softer)

5. Hardening quality problems of the grinding wheel (the grinding wheel is not hardened, the resin in the grinding wheel does not fully exert its cohesiveness, resulting in the grinding wheel not having a good holding force)

6. The speed of the cutting equipment is too low to achieve the due impact

7. Based on the above problems, our company formulates the grinding wheel formula during the manufacturing process, and strictly controls the quality of each link, such as mixing, forming, hardening, etc., so that buyers can buy products with confidence.

After receiving the product, if any problems related to product quality are found, they will actively cooperate to solve them, and any problems in the use of the product will also be actively guided.
